Atwork is seeking a Shop Maintenance worker/Handyman to be responsible for the construction, maintenance and repair of shop facilities and fixtures in our retail shops.
Job Requirements include:
Carpentry – Rough carpentry work in building demolition and construction, finish carpentry for doors, windows, walls, ceilings and systems; fine cabinetry work for construction, repair and lamination of wood casework.
Plumbing – Repairing and replacing water lines, faucets and water heaters; unclogging drains and sweating copper.
Electrical – Repairing and replacing receptacles, light switches, light fixtures, ballasts, circuit breakers, electronic cash registers and electronic scales.
Flooring – Repairing and replacing vinyl composition tiles, ceramic tiles and sheet vinyl flooring.
General – Routine painting, maintenance and repair of any physical aspect of the shop, fixtures and equipment in and around each shop facility.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Assistance in lifting over 50 lbs. will be provided.
Good attendance record, willing to work nights, weekends and out of town as required.
Ability to work independently.
Valid California Driver’s License and good driving record.
