About this job

Position is responsible for identifying and maximizing opportunities with regionally and locally based customers.
• Achieve profitable sales by thorough understanding of channel and customer’s business.
• Build enduring relationships based on trust and integrity with customer’s management team.
• Develop and successfully sell customer plans that include annual agreements, strategic and tactical pricing plans and promotional plans that align with and support the customer’s and the Heartland systems business objectives and strategies.
• Develop collaboratively with customer a trimester price/package plan that generates desired results for both customer and Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling.
• Conduct post promotional analysis measuring the success levels of promotions making any necessary changes to price and package plan.
• Communicate weekly with division sales management discussing promotional plans, display commitments and establishing volume goals.
• Sell-in and implement regional or national promotional strategies for the introduction of new brands and packages.
• Work with category management to gain key market and customer insights.

Requirements

Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a high school diploma required.
* 1 - 2 years in consumer goods industry required.
* Experienced working with Nielsen and other syndicated data required.
* Experience in developing successful annual business plans and price/package for retail customers required.
* Strong analytical, verbal and written communications skills.
* Above average computer skills.
* Occasional hot/cold environments.
* Periodic bending, kneeling, pulling, and/or lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing.
