Bin Loader / Palletizer - Full-time / Part-time

Hickory Farms is currently seeking reliable, motivated individuals for Bin Loader / Palletizer positions for the Hickory Farms Distribution Center in Joliet, IL. This is a seasonal position starting in July ending in December 2017. As a Bin Loader / Palletizer, your main responsibility will be loading products into bins for the assembly of gifts.

As a Bin Loader / Palletizer, you will...

• Load products into bins for the assembly of all gifts
• Lead gift boxes onto pallets and wrap the pallet when work order is completed
• Effectively communicate with supervisor
• Follow specific directions, fully understand the training on safety, QA and GMP rules
• Maintain a clean and safe work area·
• Assist other Bin Loaders and Supervisor when requested
• May rotate to various positions and jobs within the assembly line
• Ensure compliance of company safety and standard operating policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Perform with the best effort in indicated by the assembly line's pace
• Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment tests

Physical Demands of a Bin Loader / Palletizer

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. of force frequently
• Regularly required to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to stand up to a minimum of 8 hours per day
• Position requires bending and twisting
