Cheese Production - Heavy Labor - Full-time / Part-time

We are currently recruiting for long-term production positions at a premier client in the Melrose/Mindoro area. This award winning organization is a farmer-owned cooperative that has been producing quality dairy products, including award-winning cheeses, since 1958. It is the 21st largest dairy cooperative in the U.S. whose customers include schools, grocery and convenience store chains, independent grocers, warehouse clubs, food service companies, and food manufacturers.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Pouring cheese into machines
• Putting the cheese curd into the appropriate forms
• Stacking and flipping the forms, packaging as needed
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment

All applicants must pass a criminal background check, be willing and committed to working every other weekend, and enjoy working early mornings. Those that meet the latter requirements, that take direction well, learn responsibilities and duties quickly, and have the desire and ability to multi-task are the utmost preferred candidates. Competitive starting wage of $12.74 per hour with wage increases after successful completion of provisional employment.

Candidates must also possess:

• The capability to lift and rack up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis
• The ability to stand on one’s feet the duration of the shift
• Punctuality and the ability to represent strong work ethic and a stable work history
• Enjoy working in all work elements
