POSITION PURPOSE
The main objective of the Contracts and Deviations Administrator is to effectively and efficiently manage the pricing contacts for customers and vendors, research discrepancies, and maintain various monthly reports.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage deviation maintenance, customer contract pricing and updates for assigned branches and sales professionals.
Prepare Excel vendor increase files for sales reps monthly as it relates to margin management and updating of pricing due to vendor cost changes
Manage monthly contracts and deviations due to expire
Responsible for cost change margin enhancements and margin improvement projects
Research discrepancies in vendor deviation credits
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
NATURE AND SCOPE
The Contracts and Deviations Administrator position reports directly to the Contracts and Deviations Supervisor.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 25% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 0 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Business school, Associate s degree or equivalent is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: A minimum of 6 years experience, preferably in an office environment with JanSan, processing deviation filings, and associated reports and/or equivalent preferred
Jansan-Janitorial and sanitation experience preferred.
Strong data entry / 10 key skills
Ability to deal effectively & tactfully with variety of individuals via telephone and in writing
Excellent communication and listening skills
Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems
Good organizational/time management with strong follow up skills
Ability to handle multi-tasks
MS Office with strong knowledge of Excel; database experience preferred but not required
