Architect, I&TG

• Develop and implement software for ecommerce applications and related technology.
• Deliver code that meets specification.
• Create self-documenting designs and/or clearly communicates intent via comments in code, on specification, in as-built documentation and during code reviews.
• Write unit and integration tests for each deliverable, effectively and comprehensively exercising the code; prevent the introduction of subsequent bugs and correct existing bugs or design issues.
• Influence the discovery and decision-making process when changes to standards and technology are required (tools, conventions and design patterns).
• Serve as a team member in the design and new technology proof of concept for application for new technology.
• Develop and implement software for ecommerce applications and related technology, with minimum oversight.
• Perform code reviews to ensure functional performance specifications are met and engineering standards are followed.
• Keep abreast of new technology patterns and trends.
• Engage in the evolution of standards and technology (tools, conventions and design patterns).
• Lead analysis, design and development of software with small technical team.
• Participate in the formulations and implementation of department processes, procedures, policies and standards.
• Mentor Engineers and Associate Engineers.
• Interface with all levels of management to negotiate and influence development activities and initiatives.
• Resolve complex development, coding and implementation issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Information Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field, plus three (3) years of experience analyzing, designing and developing Java-based multi-layer web applications; or alternatively, a Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Information Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience analyzing, designing and developing Java-based multi-layer web applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Candidate must also possess:

• Demonstrated Expertise ('DE') in the design, development, validation, and testing of cloud-based services on server and client side platforms using Java and Java Script.
• DE designing web applications utilizing Angular JS and HTML 5.
• DE utilizing Spring MVC, Node JS, Hibernate, MySQL, Oracle and Mongo DB.
• DE working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Goggle Cloud to deploy solutions.
