The Old Spaghetti Factory has an opening for a Kitchen Shift Leader to work 35-40 hours per week. We value a positive and flexible attitude, motivational leadership skills, and a commitment to guest service.
If you are looking to grow in your career, this is also a great opportunity to quickly move into a kitchen manager position.
-Provide leadership and guide the kitchen staff to meet operational and company goals.
-Assist in all positions in the kitchen as needed.
-Maintain food quality and ensure that all recipe books are being used.
-Enforce sanitation and food safety rules.
-Assist with cost control.
-Ensure proper kitchen protocol and compliance with human resource procedures.
-Create an environment of both-win management, and model our company values on a daily basis to include treating others with honesty, dignity and respect.
-Interview, schedule, train, supervise, and coach.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Ability to effectively manage in the absence of the kitchen manager.
- Valid food handler’s card by date of hire.
