Job Description - CCTV Specialist
In this role, the AP Technology Specialist supports the AP Operations Manager to ensure all Asset Protection technology investments are properly installed, serviced and repaired. The specialist works with and effectively communicates to Corporate Finance, field and corporate business partners concerning AP technology projects. Additionally, the specialist works with multiple vendor teams to manage AP technology projects. The AP Technology Specialist coordinates projects with Real-estate, Retail Service, and Facilities to understand their projects and manage the necessary technology changes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • provides management over Breakfix tickets to be reviewed, processed and resolved weekly
  • Management support to REIT Stores to ensure re-use of equipment, effective placement of camera systems and proper installation completion, and video up and operational
  • Establishes and fosters strong Vendor Relationships and works closely with Field Associates to resolve issues and drive for closure
  • Manages Bid process to obtain best pricing for service requests of materials and APP equipment to resolve Store and Auto Center issues with Vendors
  • Preparers documentation for weekly Asset Protection projects
  • Works with vendors ensuring critical systems are maintained and repaired
  • Coordinates AP Technology infrastructure repair and replacements projects
  • Interacts with corporate directors, managers, DVP's, and field management.
  • Assist store and field Asset Protection personnel ensuring systems are maintained and maximized in order to achieve the company's shortage control strategies
  • Work with AP Operations Manager on remodel stores and store format changes to ensure AP systems are deployed and installed properly Work with corporate business partners (Finance, IT, Construction, Space Planning) to obtain pertinent project details to ensure projects are effectively managed and systems are properly installed
  • Reviews and resolves store 'Help Ticket' requests
  • Manage equipment depot process
  • Attend weekly status meetings with Project Teams, AP Operations Manager and vendors to review project status and ensure
  • projects are being completed according to established timelines
  • Work with corporate AP teams, and Finance to obtain necessary information for capital requests
  • Assist with the invoice approval process for completed projects
  • Attend weekly project meetings to ensure Asset Protection initiatives are properly managed and timelines are met
  • Provides CCTV Project Management support to special APP strategic Initiatives approved by Senior Leadership Team
  • Provides expertise and recommendations for future development of Breakfix application creation


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of security and surveillance systems and equipment.
  • Experience with CAT5 cable and coax.
  • -Knowledge of computers and internal networks.
  • Knowledge of card access systems.
