Banquet Captain - Village at Breckenridge - Breckenridge Ski Resort - Full-time / Part-time

The Banquet Captain will oversee the Breckenridge Hospitality Banquet/Conference Services operations. This individual will be expected to assist as needed in three of our mountain locations, Village at Breckenridge, Mountain Thunder Lodge, and River Mountain Lodge . Breckenridge Hospitality is looking for candidates that can start immediately.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Review banquet event orders (BEO), follow instructions, and delegate tasks to the team
• Supervise and direct a large staff, including training and development
• Organize banquet events, including plated functions, buffets, meetings, special events, and VIP events.
• Will be asked to adhere to Company Brand Standards for all food outlets and Banquet spaces
• Professionally act as a point of contact on site in order to handle guests' requests or/and concerns when Banquet Manager is not present

Qualifications: 

• Comfortable using a computer
• Solid organization and time management skills
• Able to interact with guests in a professional manner
• Previous Banquets experience strongly preferred
• Experience training and developing staff
• Fluent in written and spoken English - required
• Good communication skills
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Able to work both indoors and outdoors
• Must lift 50 lbs or more
• Flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, and evenings as necessary – required
