Oberlin, Ohio company has an immediate opening for a CNC programmer, set-up operator.
$18.00 - $20.00/Hour depending on experience
Hours: 1st shift Monday Friday 6:00am 2:30pm; occasional Saturday 6:00am 12:00pm
Temp-to-Hire
Duties include:
Program, setup, and operate CNC turning centers and CNC mills
Write G code, M Code, and Mazatrol programs
Make tool adjustments & change inserts
Setup and operate manual lathes and mills
Measure and inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, plug and ring gauges
Troubleshoot and assist in fixing machines and equipment that malfunctions
Coordinate workflow in department based on due date and customer need
Create Inspection checklists for parts manufactured in the department
Order inserts, taps, drills, end mills, tool holders, oil, coolant and other department supplies
Operate powered industrial truck
All other duties as assigned
Requirements include:
Extensive Machining background required
Able to read programs and setup machine with proper tools and holding devices
Able to read engineering drawings, understand dimensional tolerances, material types, and surface finishes
Able to diagnose error codes
Understand how to check dimensions
Basic knowledge of computers; Microsoft Outlook/Excel and CAM software experience preferred
Tow motor experience required
Prescreen testing required
High School Diploma/GED preferred
