Our Shift Leaders operate our restaurants on a shift by shift basis.  They learn management skills from their GM’s and apply them to the team.  This is an upwardly mobile position.  Great shift leaders become great Assistant Managers and General Managers.  We believe in promoting from within.

Applicant should have a flexible schedule and be willing to work evenings and weekends.  A Team Member has to prepare food products for customers maintaining the highest level of quality and cleanliness. His/her job is to provide prompt and efficient service to customers in a courteous and friendly manner while striving to exceed customer expectations.

Shift Lead Duties Include:

• Providing GREAT customer service to our valued guests and create a memorable experience.

• Take orders from customers in a friendly and upbeat manner.

• Be able to work with and without direction, take initiative, and be a problem solver.

• Ensure crew members arrive as scheduled, and have clean and complete uniforms.

• Check customers out at a point of sale register, handle cash, credit card, or coupon transactions with accuracy and care.

• Use checklists to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and readiness of the store for customers.

• Prepare all food products according to approval procedures.

• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.

• Initiate actions to correct customer complaints and refers customers concerns to management immediately.

• Ensures products/supplies are rotated in and out of storage.

• Monitors and maintains all product /supply levels and notifies management when levels are low.

• Notifies management immediately when equipment requires repair.

• Ensures production/service areas are organized, professional and clean at all times.

• This role may include additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the restaurant management.

Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma

• On the job training is provided

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills

• Clean, neat, and professional appearance.

• Minimum of 3 months prior experience in customer service.

• A DoubleDave's customer for 1 year or more is preferred!
