The Connection is an award winning national inbound call center and service agency looking to add a full-time Recruiter to support and drive our recruiting initiatives.  The company Recruiter will focus on Full-cycle recruiting to attract and retain non-exempt, hourly talent within our call center environment. Position works directly with the onsite HR teams, corporate HR and marketing to provide a companywide approach to recruiting. Successful candidates will thrive in a high-energy entrepreneurial environment, demonstrate drive, and possess persistence while thinking outside the box on how to attract talent in today’s labor market.

Requirements

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Source candidates and conduct screening interviews. Evaluate candidates to ensure we are identifying top talent. Partner and coordinate the interview process with call center HR staff.
  • Work with site HR Managers and Call Center Managers to coordinate and present approved job offers to candidates.
  • Must provide excellent, proactive communication to all parties involved including candidate, hiring manager and others as necessary.
  • Utilize cost effective sourcing tools and strategies. Build and maintain a candidate pipeline, using such tools and partnerships as LinkedIn, social media, educational institutions, community resources, professional associations, and external staffing agencies.
  • Research, recommend, and implement Social Media tools to further presence on the web and other platforms.
  • Research and recommend ways to continue to move The Connection Employment Brand forward in the marketplace.
  • Utilize, update, and maintain the applicant tracking system with resumes and notes, interview schedules, and hiring data.  Provide direction and training to HR site staff on tracking system.
  • Prepare reports and provide information regarding recruitment activities.
  • Participate in projects relating to talent acquisition as assigned.

The ideal candidate for this position is a proactive, collaborative, creative, and results-driven professional who has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or other related field, or equivalent degree.
  • 1-3 years or more in sourcing and recruiting in a high volume, fast-paced environment, preferably in a non-exempt, hourly workforce.
  • Understanding of sourcing tools including social media or other niche advertising strategies
  • Sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and the company image
  • Sense of urgency and the ability to execute quickly and efficiently
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem solving ability
  • Influencing abilities and negotiation skills
  • Diplomacy, professionalism and credibility
