About this job

The position requires somebody who is very well spoken, polite, detail oriented, and self-motivated. Responsibilities would include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking emails, communicating with our caterers/decorators/DJs/etc., drafting event proposals, meeting with clients, and acting as a liaison between clients and the Executive team here at Sunrise. Specific requirements are proficiency with Word/Excel, Customer service experience/potential, and sharp organization skills.

As an integral member of the Sunrise Management team, you would be working very closely with the owners/managers (i.e. Me) and you would juggle a number of different roles. During events you would be in charge of leading and facilitating Sunrise Staff - groups of 5-50, depending on the event size. During the week you might be an event planner one moment, and an office assistant the next. It is definitely a dynamic and exciting work environment.

Pay is competitive, hours are consistent M-F, and vary on weekends. There is a lot of room for growth at our business, and it is my aim to provide you with enough experience and training to enter the upper levels of our event management team.
