Summary

Sr Business Development Manager

The Sr Business Development Manager manages sales programs and strategic planning initiatives within the Home Center/Home Improvement department of the business to ensure sales targets are met. This role may be dedicated to servicing one significant client or responsible for multiple clients’ goals and encompassing customer relations and implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain weekly communications with the Clients and Merchants.
  • Organize, prepare for and participate in all clients category Product Line Reviews.
  • Prepare competitive retail shops with client’s competitors.
  • Submit for all possible clients promotional opportunities for respective Clients
    • (POD’s, Qt. Pallets, Side Stacks, Coupon Books, End-Caps, Stack-outs, etc.).
  • Maintain Client samples in AS Mooresville stock room and ability to build POG’s at the retailer’s Planogram Facility as needed.
  • Manage client’s planning and trade management systems.
Qualifications
  • Previous multi-year experience in Sales & Marketing working with Client Teams and multiple accounts channels.
  • Should have strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and creative suggestions to capitalize on all possible product & promotional opportunities.
  • Should have both sales/marketing skills and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple Client and Account needs daily.
  • Previous experience working with Home Improvement retailers is a must.
