The Adventure Point Assistant Manager is instrumental in the safety and efficiency of the department. They are a Mountain Operations Leader responsible for driving a fun and successful experience across all functions of the snow bike, snow fort and tubing hill operations. The ideal candidate will possess experience in resort operations, grooming and team management.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Organize the daily workload, ensure direction, and clearly communicate and manage the day to day Adventure Point Operation.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all mandated company and departmental safety policies and procedures to ensure that our staff and guest safety is the highest priority.
  • Accountable for department’s financial results.
  • Manage weekly & daily schedules, activity inventory, house bank, and stock.
  • Oversee all of Adventure Point for guest service, appearance, function, and safety.
  • Works closely with other supervisors and managers to look for ways to improve the guest experience, the department, and the resort as a whole.
  • Motivate peers and staff by leadership example and promote the company Service Mantra of "Own It, Personalize It and Elevate It" in order to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction.
  • Operate Tubing Hill Snowcat Grooming equipment to construct and maintain any and all types of Tubing Hill features.
  • Management of Daily Snow Bike Operations, including conducting lessons and coaching Instructors on new lesson progressions, techniques and performance. 

 

Requirements:

 

  • 2+ years Mountain Operations & Supervisory Experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • MS Office/Outlook Proficiency  
  • Ability to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment
  • Ability to work holidays and weekends
  • Ability to stay on mountain during large storm events
  • High degree of organization, attention to detail, and level of professional conduct
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous groomer or heavy equipment operator experience 
  • Previous experience managing resort attractions
  • Advanced level skier/snow biker
  • RPOS/Cash Handling Experience
  • Previous experience with teaching/coaching/mentoring
  • Knowledge of Adventure Point Tubing and Keystone Mountain Activities
