The Houseman is responsible for providing indoor and outdoor grounds care for our historic property. They are the backbone of the lodging department and are asked to be the Jack of All Trades when it comes to their daily duties. This is a great position to gain experience in the overall care of a property and hospitality sectors. A great position to start a career with Vail Resorts!

Duties Include:

•Property Landscaping: General upkeep of Grounds as needed, snow removal, ice mitigation, salting

•Haul and chop wood to maintain wood burning fireplaces; Cut kindling; Maintenance of wood pile; Clean fireplaces

•Minor Maintenance as needed

•Assist Daytime staff as business needs require (tasks will vary)

Qualifications:

•Must be able to stand for long periods of time -required

•Must be able to lift 50+ pounds -required

•Must be able to work outdoors in cold, winter conditions -required

•Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
