What you will do:

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting and analysis, operational and management reporting, business analytics including the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), trend analysis and ad hoc analysis to support management decision-making for new and existing business initiatives. 

Essential Functions:

• Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and forecast
• Manage the preparation of all financial reports
• Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
• Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations, site selections, and marketing initiatives
• Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
• Support financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff
• Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed

What you need:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

Experience:

• 7 years of experience in finance including 3 years in financial planning and analysis
• 2 years management experience
• Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting software
• Multi-unit restaurant experience preferred
• Prefer experience with forecasting and modeling in one or more of the following areas: site selection, new location projections, capital projects, marketing campaigns

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access
