Job Description

This Technician role helps in outpatient activated event area and will have the following responsibilities:

* Preform ECG analysis on 24-48 hr Holter monitor recordings and generate report to ordering physician.

* Receive ECG transmission from patients as well as field follow-up calls from client offices and patients.

* Responsible for ensuring both patient and client offices understand how to use each piece of equipment.

* Ensures patient wears the monitor to enable data generation for clients to provide appropriate treatment.

* Responsible for report generation, including weekly and end of session-- when the patient is removed from the monitor

* Responsible for communicating device return dates to patients.

* Responsible for managing the patient event station which includes triaging incoming ECGs and speaking directly with patients regarding the monitor and any symptoms they are experiencing.

Requirements

* HS Diploma or equivalent required with 1-3 years of experience preferred.

* Must be able to identify variances in waveform -- amplitude and rhythm of ECG--on Holter monitor recordings.

* Must have the ability to communicate STAT and critical results to our nurse and physician clients.

* CCT certified or eligible preferred.
