Your Responsibilities:

Assist with the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met

Provide training and supervision to resident assistants in the administration of direct care within the community; provide hands-on resident care as needed or warranted

Observe and document residents' physical and psycho-social needs, and coordinate with other departments to assure quality care

Provide continuity of care for those residents receiving home health care, hospice services, and other third party healthcare-related services

Required skills and qualifications:Current licensed practical nurse in the state of Tennessee

Working knowledge of computer systems, databases and Microsoft Office

Knowledgeable of State and local rules, regulations, laws and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing

Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly

Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community and State officials and general public, exceptional organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize daily tasks in order to accommodate fluctuating needs of the residents and the Community

Ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care

Able to supervise department employees using independent judgment and discretion

Must pass criminal background check
