Hours of Work:  3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday thru Friday

POSITION PURPOSE
Perform all tasks involved in the production of products. May include rubber, stretch cord, sewing and packing. Performs one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly line or sub-assembly line to produce and assemble products.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 20% - Involves such processes as insertion of materials. Clamping, fitting parts, and use of some hand tools. May cut pipe to specific dimensions as required by fabrication job. May align layout marks with die and blade, position materials being joined to ensure accurate application of adhesive.

  • 15% - May perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools. using electronic and pneumatic tooling

  • 15% - May create shop drawing to indicate specific components that will be processed using the V-Groover Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.

  • 20% - Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages. Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes. Place finished goods on the designated pallets.

  • 15% - Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations. Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines.

  • 15% - Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habit to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.

  •  Performs other duties as assigned.

     NATURE AND SCOPE

    This position reports to CB DC Assistant Manager. This position has no Direct Reports.

    ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.

    Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be eighteen years of age

  • Must pass the Drug Test

  • Must pass the Background Check

  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

  • Work 2nd Shift

    EDUCATION REQUIRED
    The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

    PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, using a 10-key or calculator, bending or squatting.
