About this job

The incumbent collaborates with the Format Leader, Director of Corporate Support, and other Hoffman Support Teams to define tactical direction of field projects in line with the 5 Play Strategy. They work cross functionally to ensure achievement of all business goals and targets are met. Will manage complex projects, provide format wide analysis, provides the Senior Asset Protection Leadership Team with key insight and solutions to improve profit performance, develop new Asset & Profit Protection routines/programs at the store level, and support implementation of such through collaboration with the Regional Asset & Profit Protection Directors.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manages complex projects that support the achievement of Asset Protection business goals across the format.
  • Manages the Asset Protection PA program including scope development, field implementation, integration with Store Operations PMP, and Metric Reporting.
  • Develops and implements a format wide plan for integrating strategies with Key Asset Protection field Teams.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Field Asset & Profit Protection Operations to support the development and implementation of efficient store Asset & Profit Protection processes.
  • Acts as a role model and servant leader for the Field Asset & Profit Protection Team
  • Conducts analysis to identify key areas of opportunity that need to be addressed to drive Profit Improvement efforts.
  • Implements plans and action items to drive engagement of Asset Protection and Store Operations Teams to support achievement of business goals.
  • Shares best practices/opportunities with Hoffman Support Team and across regions to improve team performance.
  • Conducts store visits on a regular basis to understand business, engage associates, develop talent, and improve team performance.
  • Collaborates with Asset & Profit Protection Learning and Development to provide Retail Excellence and Operational Training to field teams.
  • Demonstrates courageous leadership be identifying and communicating potential ethical issues that must be addressed at Market, Regional, or SHC Level.
  • Be the advocate to ensure the Members and our Associates have a safe environment to shop and work in.
  • Coordinate field communication and the required execution from field teams on relevant projects/initiatives.
  • Attend weekly project meetings to ensure Loss Prevention initiatives are properly managed and timelines are met. Work with corporate safety team to ensure that projects are managed safely and all new equipment is reviewed prior to being implemented
  • Prepares and assists in the development and maintenance of reporting that supports the LP Operations and field team. Prepares special ad hoc reports, graphs and charts of researched data for presentation to management.
  • Protect our Members and Associates by taking an active role in the prevention of safety related incidents.
  • Develop Asset & Profit Protection strategies keeping the Member Experience at the forefront.
  • Collaborate with Store Operations to ensure effective out of stock process execution.
  • Integrate the Asset & Profit Protection 5 Play Strategy within Store Operations.
  • Adapts own behaviors and communication to gain cooperation in situations where he/she has no direct authority.
  • Collaborates effectively with Store Partners to achieve business goals.
  • Meets Asset Protection Goals and Objectives.
  • Provides timely coaching to Team to ensure developmental growth.
  • Provides servant leadership to organization be listening to team needs, acting with empathy, delivering specific requests, and being humble.
Job Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of store operations, supply chain, and merchandising functions within SHC. Ability to integrate with each function to drive collaborative action to drive improved profitability in accordance with the Asset & Profit Protection Strategy
  • Ability to form and maintain cross functional relationships across all markets, regions, and Hoffman Support Center
  • Ability to influence activities and results of non direct reporting teams/associates. Utilizes communication skills to present to senior level audiences and cascade key details to markets to drive improved execution
  • Ability to analyze multiple sources of data, draw conclusions, identify broken processes/root causes, and develop efficient solutions cross -functionally
  • Demonstrated capability to lead large scale change management efforts across multiple constituencies
  • Ability to perform long term planning in order to achieve annual financial and operational objectives
