About this job

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Online supports several teams across the organization by providing financial insights and guidance regarding online financial/KPI trends, capital investments and front-to-end changes to the online member experience. The incumbent analyst will work closely with the product teams, marketing teams and merchants to identify opportunities to improve the online experience and to validate the expected benefits associated with each initiative. The analyst will also work with the online finance team to analyze and ensure financial integrity of the financial plans, monthly reporting and related business initiatives. The analyst will be able to interpret financial and online data and effectively convey a comprehensive story as to how it relates to the online business and how it will impact future performance. This individual will also be responsible for performing special project analysis requests related to expense rationalization, productivity, and other business related opportunities.

Responsibilities * Partner with product teams to validate the integrity of business cases for each online initiative
* Assist teams through the project approval process and ensure the quality of the executive level submissions
* Analyze, identify root cause and recommend solutions regarding variances to Plan and to forecast for financials and online KPIs
* Manage the annual strategic planning process in conjunction with corporate timelines
* Manage daily/weekly/monthly planning, forecasting and reporting
* Provides regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed to help drive business results
* Works with the Online/IMX leadership team to align on decisions and recommendations
*Coordinating with the Business Units and driving growth
*A positive, team oriented attitude

Skills/Experience:
* B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related analytical field
* Prior eCommerce experience preferred but not necessary
* Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in Financial Planning, Forecasting, Strategic Business Decision Making or Analysis
* Strong desire to understand processes and how each process fits into the bigger picture
* Strong decision making and problem solving skills based upon financial results and key performance indicators
* Ability to read, interpret and communicate detailed quantitative data
* Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
* Excellent oral and written communication
* Excellent computer skills (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Hyperion Essbase, Access)
