About this job

The District Asset Coordinator is responsible for disbursing, monitoring, tracking, transporting, retrieving and general control of company assets relative to the In Home service operation. These assets include: service vans, mobile computing and communications devices, tools, equipment, refrigerants, and inventory. This person serves as the liaison between the field management team and National Operations Team for Assets & Programs.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Supports the installation, maintenance, transfer and tracking of mobile computing equipment such as: laptops, transmitters, receivers, printers, cradles, and pedestals; maintains any associated lists or databases; facilitates upgrades in hardware and software.
  • Coordinates the ordering, distribution, recovery and warehousing of technical tools and equipment, including refrigerant recovery and associated regulatory documentation.
  • Coordinates fleet assignments on behalf of the service unit, facilitates vehicle changes, monitors disposition of spare vehicles, and maintains master list or database of vehicles assigned to the business unit.
  • Monitors and ensures title, licensing, branding, maintenance and repair of all vehicles is completed according to regulation, specifications or company standards.
  • Orders, receives, distributes and controls company cell phones for service technicians; maintains associated master cell phone list for the service unit.
  • Coordinates the ordering and distribution of fuel service cards, insurance cards, fleet service cards, tolling transponders etc., and monitors usage and compliance, and maintains associates lists or databases.
  • Serves as single point of contact for national program managers and responds to any other inquiries and directives.
  • Controls and safeguards all master and duplicate keys for service vans.
  • Performs other duties as assigned Required Skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Universal CFC certification for handling refrigerants.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to use common computer applications, web based systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to drive legally, responsibly and safely.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, solve problems and follow directions.
  • Ability to apply appropriate use of personal protective equipment (i.e. back belt, safety glasses).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in non-air conditioned environment, where applicable.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
Education Requirements: HS Graduate or Equivalent
Years of Related Experience: 2-5 Years
License/Certificate Required: Yes
Travel Requirements: 25%
