Experience the thrill of the game by contributing to a positive guest experience to thousands of Sabres fans each game.   If you are seeking a career in the Food and Beverage industry that offers new and exciting challenges every day, then this is the opportunity for you!  Under the direction of the Commissary Manager, the Assistant Commissary Manager is responsible for the management of staff and determining quantities of food, beverage, and realted pproducts required to adequately stock the commissary.   

Position Details

Responsibilities of the assistant Comissary Manager include:

- Overseeing the supervision of hourly commissary employees

- training/instructing employees on policies, procedures, duties and activities; handling disciplinary matters.  Scheduling commissary personnel; ensuring adequate employee coverage

- Receiving commissary merchandise, verifying receiving slips and forwarding invoices; verify inventory; ensuring correct stock has been delivered; issuing merchandise to stands; keeping abreast of sanitation laws; ensuring proper sanitation procedures are followed.

- Purchasing: Determining quantities of food, beverage, and related products required to adequately stock commissary in conjunction with the Commissary Manger, following established company guidelines.

Preparing various operational reports ;in conjunction with the Commissary Manager,  keeping records pertaining to purchases, sales,  and requisitions.
