About this job
Laurel Parc at Bethany Village seeks a friendly and energetic Wellness Assistant to work directly with our Wellness Coordinator to lead fun and safe land and/or aquatics group classes for our seniors. This is a part time position working Saturdays and Sundays.
The Responsibilities
- Lead energizing, fun, and safe aquatics classes as directed by the Wellness Coordinator
- Promote wellness and safety
- Work effectively with people of different skill levels, abilities, and opinions
- Create an engaging and welcoming class atmosphere
The Qualifications
- At least two years’ experience working with the senior population
- Excellent customer service skills
- AEA Instructor Certification
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire, which we provide)
- Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary
- Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary
- Must be at least 21 years of age
