Pei Wei is looking for an Instructional Design and eLearning Manager to play an instrumental role in the next phase of our growth as we build a new Restaurant Support Office team in the Las Colinas area of Irving, TX. What you will do:

• The Instructional Design and eLearning Manager oversees Pei Wei’s eLearning and curriculum portfolio by creating and executing an innovative, progressive, and transformational curriculum development that integrates learning, performance, and talent development.
• Develop engaging and high impact training programs and materials
• Apply adult learning theory to the creation of eLearning and blended learning solutions 
• Work closely with Regional Training Managers (RTMs) to create and improve training programs and materials 
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and modify training curriculum, content, materials, job aids, etc. to meet Pei Wei’s learning needs 
• Assess new training programs through results, participant reviews, and manager feedback and make adjustments as needed 
• Provide oversight of all aspects of the learning management system 
• Create, produce, and edit video content 
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve our training and operational performance 
• Effectively create and communicate proposals for curriculum improvements 
• Stay informed of the latest instructional design and eLearning trends

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional systems, adult learning theory or performance technology plus 2 years of instructional design experience or High School diploma/GED and 5 years of instructional design experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office and software design tools such as Articulate Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with multi-media production 
• Experience writing video scripts and video production 
• Highly detailed written communication skills 
• Ability to tailor communication style to audience across all levels of the organization 
• Ability to manage projects from ideation to implementation 
• Ability to create and implement curriculum that drives business results while being fun and engaging for the users 
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills 
• Takes initiative 
• Proves to be self-disciplined, highly motivated and able to work independently 
• Passion for training and developing people
