Job Description
Russell Cellular, a Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer, is looking for a Purchasing Manager within the Home Office in Battlefield, MO. This position is a key management and leadership role within the Russell Cellular inventory operations. This role is responsible for the overall design and execution of distribution partnerships, product launch and development, and overall demand planning and replenishment program for 350+ retail locations. All of which to align with the goals and direction of the Russell Cellular sales strategy and industry evolution. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics.
Job Responsibilities / Primary Duties
????????? Team Development and Leadership
o??? Responsible for leading and growing a team of 3-5 team members including Buyers, Auditors, and Analysts
o??? Maintains staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
o??? Audit inventory processes and procedures to ensure operational efficiencies and compliance.
o??? Responsible for recruiting, orienting, scheduling and training employees.
????????? Mobile Device Procurement and Supply Management
o??? Device distribution partnership and relationship management
o??? Product replenishment strategies and life-cycle management
o??? Product forecast planning and launch strategies
o??? Distribution partnership developments and program oversight
o??? Account billing auditing in partnership with accounting team
o??? OEM relation management and program development
????????? Accessory Portfolio Management
o??? Manage store plan-o-gram and product merchandising for current and new product brands.
o??? Accessory distribution program management
o??? Research and development of product categories and brands
o??? Coordinating product launch, training, communications, merchandising, and product lifecycle

Job Requirements
????????? Five or more years in relevant work experience
????????? Product launch, development, and stock management experience
????????? Vendor relation management experience
????????? Project management experience
????????? Leadership; Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to build relationships, positive team leader with an ability to inspire others
????????? Strong analytical skills & knack for reconciliation
????????? Proficiency in MS Office and Windows
????????? Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, and project management deadlines.?
????????? Proven ability to undertake multiple initiatives simultaneously.
????????? Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures.
