The In-Home Communications Manager acts as a key business partner for the In-Home business. The individual in this assignment will partner with the In-Home Leadership Team to develop and execute communications programs and translate business requirements into concise, timely, and clear communications messages.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: * Serves as a strategic business partner translating business requirements into current and future communications messages. * Works with the Home Services Communications Manager and cross-functional teams to develop an annual internal communications strategy and monthly communication plan for the In-Home business. * Develops and executes communications programs using streamlined communication tools. * Serves as a gatekeeper to prioritize and organize information for the In-Home field teams, ensuring consistent messaging and delivery. * Provides guidance to In-Home leaders regarding the development of effective communication programs and communications materials in support of business strategies, intiatives, and projects. * Develops print, electronic, and web-based communications. * Manages costs and internal and external resources. * Leads the coordination of key events (Town Hall meetings, webinars, Regional meetings, etc.) * Regularly gathers feedback from In-Home team members to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Measures and analyzes effectiveness of communications programs. * Other related job duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education Requirements: Bachelor's Level Degree Years of Related Experience: 5-10 Years Travel Requirements: 25% Required Skills: * Minimum 5 years communications experience * BA/BS degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field * The candidate for this position must possess strong writing, communication, and strategic thinking skills. This individual must write clearly and informatively and should posess the ability to vary writing style to adequately represent In-Home messages to the targeted audience. The individual in this role must have excellent grammar, knowledge of AP Writing style, strong editing skills and should be detail-oriented. The ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations is important in this assignment. Successful candidates will possess the ability to listen actively, seek clarity, and respond well to questions. Candidates for this role must demonstrate excellent group presentation skills and have the ability to contributre regularly in meetings. * Strong people/interpersonal skills. * Experience in building relationships and managing complex projects. * Experience in managing budgets, costs, and resources. * Solid business knowledge and economic literacy. * Message/program development. * Project and program management experience. Able to utilize appropriate project management tools to keep cross-functional teams aligned and informed. * Strong process focus to lead the planning and execution of key In-Home events -able to influence without authority. * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines. * PC/Software literacy - Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. * Ability to source for content using both formal and informal methods.
