About this job

Drives shuttle buses and vans to provide transportation for Harrah's guests and ensures a fun-filled and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of customer service is paramount.

~Ensures bus guests are safe and comfortable using FOCUS skills.

~Responds to calls dispatched via two-way radio.

~Assists in the distribution of promotional materials to local motels.

~Tracks number of guests transported.

~Inspects interior and exterior of bus at beginning and end of every shift to ensure "Spotless" condition; recommends servicing of the vehicle as necessary.

~Demonstrates a pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor at all times.

~Keeps informed of promotional packages, and relays this information to guests. Offers directional information, driving/hotel related. Informs guests of all hotel facilities and their location and offers to be of further assistance upon request.

~Must be able to lift 75 pounds.

~Outgoing personality enjoys conversing with guests.

~During crunch periods able to receive vehicle from guests who park Valet and fills out parking ticket, checking for and recording damage.

~Performs duties of door person when not transporting guests or inspecting vehicles.

~Maintains a neat and well-groomed appearance.

Qualifications:

~Valid Commercial Driver's License required. Clean driving record required based upon company guidelines -- Motor Vehicle Report conducted to confirm.

~Must be fluent in English.

~Must have the ability to deal with a variety of people in a courteous and professional manner.

~One-year experience preferred.

~Must have basic knowledge of local area.

~Must be personable and outgoing.

~Must present a professional and impeccable appearance.

~Must perform duties with a sense of urgency.

~Fluency and literacy in English.

~Demonstrated excellent guest service skills.

~Ability to sit for long periods.

~Ability to operate vehicles with a variety of controls in a safe, efficient manner.

~ Ability to tolerate noise, odors and vibrations without losing concentration.

~Ability to read a map and to follow verbal directions.

~Ability to assist passengers into and out of vehicle.

~Ability to handle large/heavy items up to 75 pounds and stand entire shift.

~Auditory and visual range must include immediate environment.
