About this job

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Assures timely delivery of all food and beverages and follows all recipes as described in the Starbucks manual.

* Provides exceptional friendly service to internal and external customers.

* Greets and welcomes all guests immediately using first/last names as appropriate.

* Operates a Micros system with accuracy.

* Stocks and sells food products, beverages and retail items.

* Maintains a clean, neat and organized area to provide a comfortable environment for all guests.

* Performs all side-work duties as described for assigned shift.

* Empties garbage.

* Assists in all aspects of this operation when necessary.

* Follows all established safety and sanitation guidelines.

* Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same.

* Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures.

* Performs all related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

* High School diploma or equivalent required.

* Prior cash handling experience preferred.

* Must be available to work a flexible shift to include nights, weekends and holidays.

* Must be a team player and possess very good customer service and interpersonal skills.

* Must be able to accurately operate Micros system.

JOB DEMANDS:

* Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

* Position requires 95% standing, 5% walking.

* Requires some bending, pushing, twisting, kneeling, climbing, stooping and reaching overhead.

* Must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues.

* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal and external customer contact.

* Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke.
