Sales Coordinator

Position Summary:
Provides administrative and operational support to the company's sales team and sales strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work with Sales Coordinator to track all orders and maintain accurate inventory reports.
Check data accuracy in purchase and sales orders.
Support the sales team by assisting with customer service related activities.
Review status of appointments, and new orders on daily basis.
Confirm sales order delivery dates and share packing lists with customers.
Ensure that products are shipped in time and maintain a list of all shipments scheduled for weeks ahead.
Answer phones and support with sales calls.
Answer customer or sales leads queries and provide product or distribution information.
Prepare price lists, discount offers and other sale documents.
Send emails, faxes and company updates to prospects and customers.
Liaise with the logistics coordinator to ensure timely deliveries.
Assist in the development of processes.
Perform sales duties and sells successfully when sales representatives are away or as needed.
Maintain accurate spreadsheets and documents.
Responsible for organizing distributor trade show kits and samples.

Requirements

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software; Word Processing software.
