Staffmark is currently recruiting for a maintenance technician Winchester KY. Our client is growing and seeking a motivated, driven and experienced maintenance techincian. The role of the maintenance tech will be to perform intermediate to advanced maintenance and troubleshooting repairs for the production equipment, as directed by Group Leader, Supervisor or Manager. Performs maintenance on building and facility grounds as directed by Maintenance Supervisor. Maintains P.M. and machine history documentation. (Work orders). Continually trains and educates the Production Group Leaders, Line Leaders, Setup and Maintenance Technicians and Associates with more advanced technical skills. Actively participates in continuous improvement activities. Operates and maintains certification for driving forklift trucks and cranes.

Requirements

Two-year Associate Degree or Certification in Electronic or Electrical Technology or equivalent demonstrated capability.
Three or more years of experience in manufacturing maintenance role.
Intermediate in three or more of the following areas: electrical, power distribution, PLC troubleshooting, programming and machine controls.
Intermediate in three or more of the following areas: mechanical skills, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, metal and plastic fabrication and welding.
Able to read and interpret blueprints.
Driver?s License and Forklift Certification required.
Able to adhere to a strict safety regimen and maintain a safety-conscious environment.
