Staffmark has an exciting opportunity in Saint Charles, IL for Printing Press Operators at one of our premier client locations.
These are 90 days Temp-to-Hire positions -- Come grow with us!

Shift availabilities:
1st Shift - 6 AM to 6 PM -- Thursday, Friday, Saturday
2nd Shift -- 6 PM to 6 AM -- Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Work three days and have rest of the week off to enjoy life with your loved ones!
Pay Rate:
$12/hr. to start
***On-site training is provided. Express the zeal! ***
Press Duties:
Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi-color offset press.
Perform all make-ready tasks associated with the type of press operated such as hanging cylinders, examine plates/cylinders for imperfections and checks for correct positioning of images, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and register, etc.
Make necessary color corrections and/or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work.
Clean, lubricate, and maintain the printing press, making minor repairs and replacing broken parts as required.
Troubleshoot minor problems with machine and makes proper adjustments as needed.
Retrieve all necessary components (print cylinders and dies) from the press ready table.
Check printed copy against the approved sample proof for the job. Meet established quality standards.

Requirements
Requirements:
High school and/or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience with printing presses.
Previous experience in the operation of a printing press or work in a flexographic, digital printing, offset or web printing, or duplicator operation preferred. Safety Steel toed shoes or boots are required.
Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds frequently.
Must be able to bend, reach and turn frequently.
