Experience:
Experience in leading/conducting Kaizen and Point Kaizen Events
Previous Industrial Engineering experience helpful, knowledge of Kaizen and LeanSigma,
Education/Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to effectively communicate with employees and managers
Computer literate (excel, word processing)
Experience with CAD tools required Catia, Auto CAD operating systems
Previous Supervisor and/or Lead experience helpful
Strong organizational abilities in record keeping, filing and document preparation.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and report data accurately.
- Reports to Plant Engineering Manager
- Performs CNC Programming
- Proficient use of CAD systems
- Efficient use of LeanSigma tools, materials, machines and processes
- Facilitate Kaizen events
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Assist/Conduct all with Kaizen activities
- Performs standard work analysis and maintains standard work documents
- Routinely audits lines to ensure standard work and sustainment
- Prepare and plan of work flow and process routing documents
- Prepare layout of efficient use of machinery and equipment
- Study processes and analyze cost of production
- Perform and document time and motion studies
- Study ergonomics of processes
- Calculate labor and equipment capacity requirements
- Recommend operation and process changes to increase production or improve standards
Experience:
Experience in leading/conducting Kaizen and Point Kaizen Events
