About this job

In our HOME APPLIANCE business the Business Analyst is responsible for developing insights from data and translating those insights into measurable initiatives that drive business impact and learnings for Sears Holdings Corporation.

Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to
(a) gather and analyze data and generate insights from that data,
(b) use those insights as the basis for developing new corporate initiatives,
(c) develop measurement methodologies for the initiatives,
(d) measure and monitor impact of the initiatives, and
(e) iterate initiatives based on results to maximize benefit. The Business Analyst will partner with teams across the organization, leveraging the work of others and extending that work where necessary. It is expected that they will contribute, and in some cases lead their projects

RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates with departments across the organization to develop insights based on data.
Coordinates with Leaders in business units to identify and prioritize areas for analysis, gathering data and developing thoughtful, robust business analyses as well as analyzing issues, developing insights and formulating data-based hypothesis.
Prepares recommendations for financial business cases and presentations for senior management.
Leads small groups of individuals in support of specific initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS
() Bachelors degree in a business related major
