A General Manager is responsible for the overall operations and management of one location. Essential Duties:

  • Manage the People Development Plan (PDP) – Cousins Subs has a very aggressive PDP, which focuses on developing talent from within our company and helping all employees grow. As the General Manager you will be responsible for implementing the PDP and the development of your locations. As the leader of your location, you will be required to staff your location and help all employees grow during their time with Cousins Subs. In order to truly help your employees grow, you will need to be a servant leader (which means you put others first, before yourself).
  • Achieve operational excellence – Our entire operations is based on being 100% guest focused. You will be required to lead by example and promote an environment where there is a sense of urgency to satisfy guests. Ensure Cousins brand standards (Quality, Service and Cleanliness) are executed. Engage and empower team to develop solutions that drive business results.
  • Build profitability - Drive sales across your assigned locattion through effective execution of Cousins standards and marketing initiatives. Delegate and lead processes to control labor costs, food costs, and bottom line cash. Ensure the safety and security of team and guests through a focus on preventative maintenance and cleanliness. Identify opportunities and action plan with their team, given by the District Manager, to set and achieve goals.
  • Servant Leadership - Display a strong personal value system which guides his/her actions, puts the needs of the organization and team members above own interests and is trustworthy and consistent in words and actions. Create an environment where people are challenged to grow and develop their skills by coaching and giving feedback to improve the performance of managers in his/her units. Servant leaders will truly care for the development and growth of others.

Specific Duties and Obligations:

  • Coach team on best practices and all expectations.
  • Monthly inventory and weekly labor scheduling.
  • P&L goal results (income and expense goals TBD)
  • Work nights and weekends to develop and improve operations.

Requirements:

  • 5 years management experience in Fast Casual or QSR
  • Experience managing financial statements and controlling costs
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
