At Sunrise, our Senior Maintenance Coordinator (Sr. MC) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Facilities Management functions in the community and around the community grounds to which they are assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Seeking an IT Manager who supports just about everything technology related in the Fox Hill Senior Living Community. Including but not limited to the following:
  • Cisco VOIP phone system
  • Door access control systems, Cisco Meraki wireless infrastructure
  • Computer/printer support
  • Emergency call system
  • Point-of-Sale system
  • TV/cable feeds
  • LAN/WAN networking
  • Cisco routers
  • Cisco switches
  • Wander alert systems
  • Wireless phones
  • HVAC management systems
  • A/V event support
  • Server support
  • Windows desktop O/S
  • Windows server O/S
  • Resident computer support and training
Essentials

Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and have a high sense of urgency. Solid ability to communicate effectively and patiently with seniors, staff, management, and vendors. A broad technical background which can be a mix of hobby and professional. Eagerness to learn. Takes pride in work and work product. Must be mature and level headed, and know when to escalate issues to corporate IT or vendor.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manages all technology systems and components at the community
  • Provisions new servers and application installation
  • Monitor infrastructure for availability, performance and security
  • Applies OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis
  • Maintain high level of knowledge and expertise in core enterprise environments: Office 365, Active Directory, Citrix, Windows Servers, VMware, Client Server Hardware
  • Troubleshooting hardware and system level problems
  • Perform daily ticket queue monitoring and incident resolution as the last and level 3 technical escalation path
  • Coordinates system repairs with vendors
  • Responsible for inventory of hardware and software resources
  • Provides after-hours/on-call support as needed
  • Perform tasks outside of regular business hours, as required
  • All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or closely related field of study, preferred; however, equivalent experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree
  • 3+ years' experience in systems engineering work
  • Previous experience maintaining servers in production environment preferred
Competencies
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, ability to work on teams, good interpersonal skills, and demonstrated problem resolution skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with managing and troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks
  • Experience with VLANS and switching infrastructure
  • Ability to diagnose and repair CAT5 cabling problems
  • Experience with current Windows server platform and Windows Active Directory services
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with virtual server and desktop environments, preferably VMWare and Citrix
  • Experience with networked/distributed computing environment
