POSITION PURPOSE
This position assists in the preparation of economic- and financial analysis and forecasts for use in the development of financial business decisions.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
50%- Analysis: Perform financial and ad hoc analysis (variance and trend reporting) related to sales, gross margin, and other financial metrics; manipulate large volumes of data with an analytical outlook and vision; present results of analysis to management, highlighting problem areas and making recommendations for improvement.
25%- Forecasting and Planning: Assist in the development of the annual corporate budget;Identify financial modeling improvements in planning and forecasting to enhance process efficiency
25%- Reporting and Modeling: Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of developed data; Compile monthly/quarterly financial reporting packets used by leadership; Assist with developing and implementing sales and margin reporting needs; perform ad hoc reporting requests teaming with various business partners.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to Manager, Finance. Has no direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 1 year
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Financial Analysis, Strategic Thinking and Presentation Skills
Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
SQL Capabilities
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Strong core skills including strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical proficiency
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
Self-starter and ability to work independently
