POSITION PURPOSE
The Field Capital Projects Manager oversees field execution of store remodels and major capital projects. The Field Capital Projects Manager will ensure stores are set to Planogram as prescribed by Merchandising in the Atlanta Store Support Center. This position will coordinates all third party labor team activities and also play a role in managing new store openings.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
25% Manages highly invasive remodels and capital projects in existing stores affecting upwards of 450 bays
25% Manages, plans, and coordinates 3rd party labor groups in the execution of capital projects ensuring stores are set according to central planogram and merchandising directives. Conducts photo audits and closes out projects.
25% Conducts Pre-Construction, Interim and Punch Walks with 3rd party labor teams and field management. Orders requisite materials for projects and ensures delivery prior to project start date.
10% Develops and manages budgets for all assigned projects. Creates CBA cost sheets. Manages and communicates project scope, schedule and budget. Updates project management system on a daily basis.
10% Documents, communicates and resolves project issues with the field and SSC. Serves as subject matter expert and conduit to the field. Reviews As-Built and Proposed plans, ensuring accuracy and functionality in the store environment.
5% Coaches and develops third party labor teams.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.

Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
 
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong store level experience
Experience working with Vendors and third party contractors
