Provide accounting or finance support to a functional groupor business process. Perform analysis of project-related activities(such as capital expenditures or cost center expenses). Analyze dataand develop and manage reports. Responsible for compliance with corporateaccounting policies (GAAP) and key business practices policies.

A day in the Life

To perform this job successfully, anindividual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Therequirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/orability required.

Basicfinancial analysis and modeling support; maintain financial models and assistwith reporting impact of significant and/or unusual fluctuations inorganizational spending and the balance sheet.

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare reports, make generalledger entries, and review and verify accuracy of journal entries.

Prepare income and balance sheet statements, profit and loss statement,consolidated statements, and other accounting statements and reports.

Provide analysis and support during the AOP (annual operating plan) andquarterly forecasting processes.

Process Improvement Initiatives -- support finance initiatives related toexpense management and department reengineering to drive efficiencies (i.e. inthe monthly close, forecasting, and AOP processes.)

Special Projects -- Complete special projects as delegated by finance directors,managers, and other analysts. Special projects may include, but are not limitedto, business P&L analysis, presentation materials (graphs or schedules),economic analysis, etc.

Assist with providing analysis and ad hoc reporting, working closely with otherfinancial analysts on identifying opportunities and issues.

Conductrisk based internal audits across business units around the globe of operational,financial and information technology functions globally, as well as variousother projects and risk mitigation engagements as requested by ExecutiveManagement. Engagement responsibilities include:

* Planning---Workwith team members to scope and plan audits based on thorough risk assessment.

* Fieldwork---Collect,analyze and interpret information to assess and conclude on auditareas. Prepare clear and concise documentation to supportconclusions and findings.

Reporting---assistin developing audit report. Communicate audit results to managementin a clear and concise manner.

Must Haves:

* PursuingBA/BS in Accounting or Finance.

* 3.25GPA or higher

* Eligibleto work in the U.S. on a permanent basis

Nice to Haves:

* Solidfoundation in accounting, finance, and business management fundamentals.

* Highlyproficient in Excel, Word, and G/L applications.

* Experienceand/or supplemental understanding of information technology infrastructure orapplications a plus.

* HyperionEssbase, Microsoft Access, PowerPoint or other systems related interests andexperience.

* Ableto work independently and interface in team environment with various levels ofmanagement and staff.

* Highenergy, results-orientated individual with demonstrated capacity to take chargeof assigned projects with sense of urgency, good analytical and problem solvingskills, good business sense.

* Progressivemind-set, innovative (always looking for improvement opportunities).

* Flexibleand able to adapt to shifting priorities and responsibilities in a dynamic andchanging environment.

* Strongorganizational and interpersonal skills with interests in building strongbusiness partnering relationships.

* Strongverbal and written communication skills. Analytical and decisive.
