POSITION SUMMARY

Ona project / tactical level, the successful candidate for this position providesdesign quality assurance and interior design management services and managesall aspects of franchised, managed, or corporate projects for new construction,conversion, or adaptive re-use, inspiring internal and external stakeholders tocreate design solutions that thrill guests and align with brand strategy. EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

* Contributesto the interior design quality assurance program for assigned projects. Reviewsand/or develops interior design concepts for assigned projects.

* Presentsand sells Brand design concepts and strategies to project stakeholders toinspire, educate, guide, and influence design outcomes.

* Worksas a collaborative member of a multi-disciplinary, high-volume, deadlineoriented design and project management team.

* Provideinformation, interpretation, and guidance to internal and external stakeholdersfor adapting brand standards to projects.

* Developand maintain an expertise on the prototypical FF&E plans and specificationsfor assigned select service and extended stay brand(s).

* DevelopFF&E quantity take-offs based upon drawings submitted by external clients.

* Track,maintain, and report project data and milestones utilizing a database tool.

* Maintainand update project review templates and quality control checklists

* Communicateand coordinate with Global Design Strategies team to develop, update, andmaintain brand standards documentation.

* Maintainsawareness of pertinent interior design and architectural industry knowledge andproduct innovations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

KeySkills/Requirements:

* Minimum 4years experience in the design field, preferably in the hospitality designindustry

* Excellentoral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

* Customerservice focus

* Knowledgeableabout innovation & trends both in & outside of industry

* Strongbusiness acumen and strategic thinking ability

* Strongcreative design and problem solving skills

* Teamoriented

* Abilityto read and interpret architectural / interior design drawings and contractdocuments

* Abilityto negotiate and be flexible when appropriate

* Strongproject management skills

* Abilityto manage multiple priorities and resources

* Abilityto work in a high volume, fast-paced, deadline oriented environment as a memberof a collaborative team

* Proficientin using Microsoft Office, scheduling, project & database managementsoftware (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCad, Bluebeam, Adobe)

* Knowledgeof FF&E specification software

Education andProfessional Certification:

* 4-year degree from an accredited interior designprogram preferred, or equivalent work experience within the industry

* NCIDQ certificate preferred
