Job Description

Project Coordinator

Swimming Pools, Water Parks and Aquatic Facilities

Our Client is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills for a project coordinator position in a specialty fabrication/construction environment. 

Responsibilities will include written and verbal communications, correspondence and documentation, scheduling, administrative support and coordination for a range of simple to complex projects for renovation or new construction.  You will work directly with other project management staff as well as our design, engineering, fabrication and field staff.   This position is the primary point of contact for our customers.

This position will work directly with governmental, institutional and private business customers as well as developers, contractors, builders, retailers and service companies in all phases of building or renovating commercial, public and institutional swimming pools and aquatic facilities.

Our Client specializes in commercial and public swimming pools, aquatic facilities and water features.  We design, manufacture and install swimming pools, pool equipment, systems and accessories for new construction or renovation of facilities worldwide. We are an Indianapolis-based company with customers and clients on every continent.

We are a medium sized and highly regarded company recognized around the world for high quality, technically excellent and innovative aquatic systems.  Our past projects include Olympic facilities, university pools, and world-renowned water parks. Our clients include government, contractors and facility owners.

Job Requirements

A college degree in an management or administrative-related field is preferred, but not required. Three to five years' experience in operations, administrative or management support and project/order coordination in contracting, engineering, or general construction environments would be beneficial.  Experience with construction or operation of commercial or public swimming pools  is e a plus. 

Strong written and verbal communications skills are necessary in combination with the willingness and desire to learn and understand a wide range of technical and construction-related specialty equipment and systems.   Experience with operations and coordination for a project-based construction environment would be helpful.  Prior knowledge of the supply of custom engineered and specialty architectural or mechanical systems will be beneficial
