GENERAL SUMMARY: The incumbent will provide direct administrative support for the Go-To-Market VP/GM and HR Director. This position will be responsible for managing the processes and tools used to facilitate communications with all levels of the Home Improvement Field organization and has direct interaction with business partners in facilitating their communication needs. The Communications Specialist focuses on drafting, reviewing and facilitating Corporate to Field communications. In addition this position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior leadership team in Home Improvement

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: * Responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Leadership team in Longwood Florida and facilitating the daily Communications across the organization. This position will focus on the creation and facilitation of communications in a manner that maximizes the productivity of the end user.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Drafts, reviews and edits Home Improvement communications going out to the Field Offices. Works with various business partners and units of the business to develop effective communications, Works on ongoing development, improvement and implementation of communication tools and processes. Understands and facilitates all communication, compliance and reporting around field Production requirements, Partners with Communication team in SHC Corporate Office to ensure, consistency, compliance and alignment of Home Improvement messaging, Provides schedule and time management support to VP of Home Improvement along with other Senior leaders of the business as needed, Researches and books travel plans for VP of the Home Improvement Business along with process expense reporting post travels. Manages the monthly Business Award and Quarterly President's award for the business, gathers list of nominees, submit for approval and processes data for payroll upon approval, Completes and monitors special projects and reports as needed, Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Education/Training * High School degree required with college degree preferred. Experience: * Microsoft office suites experience with particular strength in PowerPoint and Excel; * 10 years in an administrative support capacity in medium to large size organizations; * At least 4 years supporting executive level management (Director or VP). * Experience in Human Resources preferred; * Project management support or ownership experience desired Role specific abilities/skills: * Project management skills; * Communication development and coordination; * PowerPoint / Excel; * Microsoft Outlook; * Strong written and communication skills; * Ability to interact at ease with executives and management; * Strong judgment and discretion with sensitive information and topics
