General:
This position is responsible for product received from the demold station and responsible for providing the assembly team finished fiberglass parts.
Tools and Equipment:
Air powered cut off saw, radial saw, reciprocating saw, table saw, hole saws (various sizes), grinders (all types), grease markers, fiberglass templates, air powered drills, paint brushes. Personal protective equipment such as ear plugs, safety glasses with side shields, face shields, gloves, respirators, air supplied hoods (various types as required).
Duties:
This process requires that decks be shear cut, flipped and drilled for customer component installations. Consoles must be cut and all box openings final ground to customer specifications. Hulls must be shear cut and have the appropriate plumbing components installed. Hulls must be primed to customer specifications. All foam applications must be sealed with fiberglass. Hulls must be free of burrs.
FUNCTIONAL FACTORS
Straight pulling Light lifting, under 20 lbs
Pushing Light carrying, under 20 lbs
Reaching over shoulders Ability for rapid mental and muscular
Both hands required coordination simultaneously
Use of fingers Specific visual requirements
Walking Corrective vision permitted
Standing Ability to distinguish basic colors
Bending Ability to distinguish shades of color
Both legs required Hearing (aid permitted)
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Inside and outside Extreme heat
Extreme humidity Constant noise
Extreme dust Solvents (degreasing agents)
Slippery and/or uneven walking surfaces Self directed
