 You are applying with Express Employment Professionals for an opening for a Packer position in Vernon, CA. 

 We are offering full-time and long-term position with an established company that takes care of its employees. This position starts right away!

 Shift: 6pm – 6am (12hour shift). (Applicants must be willing to work every day of the week Monday – Sunday. You will work 5 days per week, however the days you work varied per week. Schedule will be provided two weeks in advance. You may also work on holidays. We are asking for flexibility.

Pay: $10.75 per hour (4 hours each day are paid at overtime rate)

Packer (Vernon, CA) Job Description:

• Before shift starts packer will need to check Production Order to assure the product running is the correct one, check the size, color, lines to be run, and any other special requests on production order or from the customer. Will inform supervisor/ manager or lead of any different and/ or problem
  • Product will be delivered at high speed, (depending on the product) and shingled on to the conveyer belt.
• Each box is to be filled in accordance to the production schedule, packed on a scale to a specific weight, which has been established by management. Packers are responsible for consistent accuracy of box packing weight and to continually check the machine counter.
• When box is filled, the packer will neatly tape it shut, place their identification and SKU sticker and stack the box neatly on a pallet using correct lifting procedure

Packer (Vernon, CA) Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months – 1 year variable work experience
• Provide eligibility documents to work in the US
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
• Able to stand long periods of time and used to working 12 hour shifts.
