Bob's Red Mill is looking for the right person to join our employee-owned company. We're currently hiring for full-time, regular positions and temp-to-hire positions in our Packaging department. Full-time regular employees are eligible for our excellent, comprehensive benefits.

The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for the set up and proper operation of all packaging machinery including but not limited to form and fill machines, hopper feed systems, product screeners, automated scales, metal detectors, label applicators, bag inserters, case erectors, automated box and package printing systems, and various types of conveyor systems, etc. The use of basic hand tools is necessary in machine operation and set up.

Various shifts are available including rotational shifts that offer 7 days off in a two week period! Day and Grave positions available.

Additional Responsibilities:
Sets up and operates all production line equipment
Accurately maintains daily production logs that are legible, neat, and orderly.
Monitors quality control throughout entire packaging process.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Possesses good communication skills both written and orally.
Knowledge of basic hand tools for machine set up and operation.
Ability to work well individually and as a member of a team.
Position requires the ability to learn and demonstrate a strong working knowledge of production schedules within this company.
Frequently requires the ability to lift and stack products weighing up to 50 pounds.
Position may require standing for long periods of time.
Position requires the ability to work at a fast pace in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment:
The primary work environment for this position is within the production department. There are no adverse conditions associated with this position. Temperatures may vary in Production areas.
