Electronic Assembly

LOCATION: Redmond, WA

SALARY: $15.00 / hour

HOURS: SHIFT: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for an Electronic Assembler to work for our client in Redmond, the world leader in the development, manufacture, sale and service of external defibrillator/monitors and emergency medical response products and services. Perform a variety of production electrical / mechanical assembly, functional testing and shipping operations. Work is performed applying GMP standards and guidelines.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Prepare, process, clean, install, assemble, rework, verify, test, and/or inspect electrical and mechanical components, hardware, sub-assemblies, and assemblies on single or multiple product lines
  • Operate shop equipment and tools where applicable
  • Adhere to environmental and safety procedures associated with production processes and procedures
  • Work from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks, along with monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements
  • Communicate individual inventory needs for work center
  • Follow production build rates, schedules, and meet required cycle times
  • Interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as required
  • Actively participate in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Utilize electronic documentation and MRP systems
  • Perform 5S activities as required
  • Pick, pack, and ship activities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year experience as an electrical assembler required
  • Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
  • Requires good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Good manual dexterity, and eye/hand coordination
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
