About this job

As an Associate Director of Marketing (A-RMD) for creating a Raving Fans Strategy, specifically by delivering 2nd Mile Service and activating Emotional Connections Marketing in order to grow sales and build the brand. The A-RMD embodies the values of Chick-fil-A and serve as an ambassador to the community. The A-RMD must demonstrate creativity and marketing strengths with the strong ability to think strategically in planning and implementing marketing initiatives and promotions. They must have a growth mind set.

Accountabilities include:

Develop a plan to ensure ECM Daily 


Activities are 100% ECM-Passed thru the RAVE Filter


ECM-Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually


Have focused activities that leverage National Campaign & Market Events

Create at least ONE marketing event every TWO weeks(Includes social media ‘Events”) 


Track and get approval for needed marketing materials 


Communicate & seek input from operator & Leadership Team on Marketing Plan 


Ensure Real Food is being leveraged daily (Sampling, Whole product distribution, Lemonade Demo. Etc.) 


Ensure Chick-fil-A Cow is leveraged daily (Cow mascot, plush cow, cow truck) 


Ensure REMARK-able Experiences are taking place 


Post Sales Results from each Week & Month 


Set an outside sales GOAL for every SIX months. 


Focus catering on where people LEARN, PRAY, WORK, & HEAL 


Constantly being an advocate for growing the Chick-fil-A Brand inside and outside the store leveraging The Brand Strategy

Build and Maintain relationships with Schools & Community

Maintain Business and Professional contacts 


Seek opportunities to serve CFA @ Large Events

Involve Chick-fil-A in community-wide events

Demonstrate ownership in the Raving Fans Strategy. i.e. ECM 


Develop a Marketing leadership Team & Backstage Tour Guides. 


Strive to have a positive influence on all who come in contact w/ Chick-fil-A 


Conduct SWOT analysis for restaurant growth & opportunities

Maintain positive working relationships and coaches, motivates, and sets/reinforces expectations for team members

Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures.

Serve as a marketing subject matter expert to the team (e.g., employment law, policy handbook, etc.)

Work with other leaders and team members to cultivate a culture that supports the Owner’s vision

Provide support within the restaurant to meet business needs

Minimum Qualifications:
Specific Experience:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required: Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Required: Leadership experience

Preferred qualifications:
Bachelors degree or above with Marketing concentration or comparable experience
This is a full time position.
This person must be skilled in time management.
This person must be self-directed and highly organized.
This person must have basic computer skills.
This person must master all knowledge and skills of every position in the Restaurant including management and office work.
