Entry Level Welder

ooking for entry level Welder. F/T only. Looking for individuals that are hardworking and enjoy working outside. D/L required-clean MVR. Duties and responsibilities

• Use disc grinder to smooth out, weld, or grind parts prior to welding
• Perform welding duties using wire welding MIG or Stick
• Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by procedures, layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, or oral instructions. Welds range from simple tacks to complex welds, performed in varying positions
• Operate and/or use related equipment and tools which include forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders (portable & bench), cutting torches, hand tools, drills, punches, and tape measure
• Effectively weld and pass inspection
• Delegate workload for helpers to optimize job production
• Making sure that all the helpers are abiding by shop/OSHA safety regulations
• Attend Safety Meetings
• Other job duties include signal cranes, operate forklift/sissorlifts, minimal layout, rigging, etc

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Education – No H.S. diploma required
• At least 1 year previous welding history with an establishment – welding test required before interview to be scheduled
