Our store is located inside Medical City Hospital Building A.

Responsibilities:

CUSTOMER

  • Provides an exceptional customer experience that inspires repeat business.
  • Addresses customers' concerns and informs Manager immediately.

OPERATIONS

  • Ensures excellent guest relations; approaches customer with greeting when they arrive and answers telephone calls within one ring.
  • Asks open ended questions to identify product the customer is trying to send.
  • Provides detailed information regarding flowers and gifts to educate customers.
  • Enters orders in POS system and gathers customer information and signatures.
  • Pulls up account information and gathers name, address and delivery date, collects payment information, processes order and recaps the order.
  • Monitors orders and confirms details on a constant basis to ensure customer selection is processed correctly.
  • Merchandises all products in the gift shop.
  • Sweeps, cleans and rearranges product throughout the day to ensure a clean and full retail environment that drives customer sales.
  • Waters plants and refills vases in cooler on a weekly basis.
  • Monitors inventory and identifies flowers that are not up to Dallas Petals standards and documents on waste sheet.
  • Orders arrangements for cooler and plants for the floor, as needed.
  • Enters special requests for flowers and plants into POS system.
  • Makes deliveries to patient rooms and offices inside of Hospital.
  • Opens and closes register at end of day and balances the till.
  • Maintains confidential customer information.
  • Works closely with team at DC to ensure delivery and availibility of any orders placed.

TEAM

  • Ensures 100% compliance with all company policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Supports and assists team members on as needed basis.
  • Maintains neat and clean appearance at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Guest service mentality; is sociable and friendly and has a genuine desire to serve the customer.
  • Good verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Self starter who is energetic and flexible.
  • Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
  • Successfully works on own for extended periods of time.
  • Forms strong working relationships within team.
  • Must be able to stand for duration of work shift.
  • Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
  • Nonsmoker.
  • Minimum one year of retail/customer service experience.
  • Must be able to work at least two Saturdays a month open to close. We are flexible for the remainder of the week as long as you are able to work shifts that fall between 8am-6:00pm Monday - Friday.
